How to play Bunco
Bunco is a social dice game played in six rounds. In round one, everyone tries to roll 1s; in round two, 2s; and so on up to 6s. Players take turns with three dice and keep rolling as long as they score.
| Roll | Points |
|---|---|
| Each die matching the round number | 1 point each |
| Three of a kind, not the round number | 5 points |
| Three of the round number (Bunco!) | 21 points |
| No matches | 0, pass the dice |
At a Bunco party, the head table ends each round when a team reaches 21 points. The winning team at each table moves up, and partners switch. Prizes usually go to the most buncos, most wins and most losses. In this solo version a round ends when you reach 21 or roll nothing.
